Mosaic Clay Snails & Wooden Crafty Creatures

Get inspired by nature using log slices, clay and pegs to create beetles, bugs, bees, butterflies and a shiny mosaic snail. Best suited for children aged 5+. The activities will be run by Funky Art House who run a range of arts and craft workshops in the Bath area. The workshop will take place in the paddocks of Beckford’s Tower, so come and get creative in these peaceful autumnal surroundings during your October Half Term.

There are 3 FREE workshops during the day at 10:00 – 11:00, 11:30 – 12:30 and 13:30 – 14:30.

Please note that the Tower itself will remain closed for refurbishments, and the activity will be held OUTSIDE, a short walk across the cemetery. The walk will be on uneven ground. We therefore recommend dressing for the weather! The Paddocks can be located after Lansdown Cemetery, furthest away from the Tower.

There is NO PARKING at Beckford’s Tower. There is parking available in the cemetery lay-bys along Lansdown Road. You can travel by bus – catch the Park and Ride bus (no. 31) from Milsom Street bus stop, which runs every 15 minutes. The bus journey takes about 8 minutes. Ask the driver when you board if you can alight at the Lansdown Cemetery bus stop directly outside the Tower. The Park and Ride car park is about a 20 minute walk away from Beckford’s Tower.
