Summer Craft Days

Every Thursday during the Summer holidays we will be running free, drop in craft sessions in the museum.

 

Morning sessions: 10.30am – 12.30pm.

Afternoon sessions: 1.30pm – 3.30pm.

Every Thursday from 28 July – 25 August, no need to book and all activities are suitable for children aged 5+.

Making Towers

Come and use your scientific skills in making your own model of a Tower using craft straws.

Making Family Coat of Arms

William Beckford designed his own family coat of arms. Come and design yours. What will it include?

 

Thursday 11 August 

Making a concertina book to tell a story

William Beckford wrote a gothic novel. Come and have a go at writing your own book, perhaps base it on nature?

 

Thursday 18 August 

Print Making Towers

Come and use your artistic skills by designing your own Tower that can then be printed.

 

Thursday 25 August 

Match box Treasure Drawers

William Beckford loved to collect. Come and make some little drawers to keep your treasures in.
